    The study examined five female patients aged 25-35 with functional hyperprolactinemia who sought medical consultation for hair loss and other symptoms such as hypertrichosis, menstrual disturbances, secondary amenorrhea, galactorrhea, seborrhea, and acne. Despite normal testosterone levels and thyroid function, prolactinoma was ruled out through imaging. Trichogram examinations revealed increased telogen effluvium and dystrophic hairs in some patients, while others showed no hair loss during clinical examination. The findings suggested that symptoms like seborrhea, acne, hypertrichosis/hirsutism, and alopecia, known as SAHA syndrome, could occur in hyperprolactinemia, mimicking androgen-induced skin symptoms. The study recommended evaluating prolactin levels alongside androgen levels and thyroid function to exclude underlying endocrinopathy.
