Veltam Plus by INTAS PHARMACEUTICALS LTD is an oral medication containing 0.4 mg of Tamsulosin and 0.5 mg of Dutasteride. It is used to treat the symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland in men, which can cause urinary problems such as difficulty passing urine and frequent urges to urinate. The combination of Tamsulosin and Dutasteride helps to shrink the size of the prostate and relieve these symptoms. Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate, while Dutasteride is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor that reduces the size of the prostate.
