Tugain 5 Solution by Cipla is a topical treatment containing 5% Minoxidil, designed for men with androgenic alopecia or male pattern baldness. It helps stabilize hair loss and promotes new hair growth in areas where hair is thinning, particularly on the vertex of the scalp. It is not suitable for frontal baldness, receding hairlines, or use by women with female pattern baldness. Minoxidil in Tugain 5 works by dilating blood vessels in the scalp, which increases blood flow and stimulates hair follicles. This prolongs the active growth phase of hair and increases the size of hair follicles, preventing hair from entering the resting phase too early. The product is most effective when hair loss is recent and in smaller areas.
