Kenozole-B Cream by Brinton Pharmaceuticals is a topical treatment containing 2% Ketoconazole and 0.025% Beclomethasone. It is used for treating fungal infections of the skin and scalp that are accompanied by inflammation. The cream is effective against various fungal infections such as ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, and infections caused by yeast fungi like Malassezia and Candida. Ketoconazole in the cream acts as a broad-spectrum antifungal by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, weakening the fungal cell membrane and killing the fungus. Beclomethasone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation by blocking the production of inflammatory chemicals and constricting blood vessels. The product is available in a 15g tube and has an expiry date of September 2025.
