Intercytex
Intercytex (ICX) is a UK-based healthcare company using proprietary cell therapy technology to develop innovative products to restore and regenerate skin and hair.
Intercytex was formed in 1999 by Paul Kemp (BSc, PhD), who had previously developed Apligraf, the first cell-based product approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. He is currently the Chief Scientific Officer.
ICX's flagship Hair Multiplication technology is ICX-TRC, though they have other unrelated targets using similar techniques:
- ICX-PRO - Venous leg ulcers, Diabetic foot ulcers
- ICX-RHY - Facial Rejuvination
- ICX-SKN - Grafts
All Intercytex products are derived from unmodified human cells.
Business offices are in Cambridge, manufacturing is carried out in Manchester.
