Serum and Hair Zinc in Cystic Fibrosis

    TLDR CF patients with growth issues have more zinc in their hair than those with normal growth.
    In the study, zinc levels were measured in both serum and hair of normal children and those with cystic fibrosis (CF). The significant finding was that CF patients with growth retardation had higher mean zinc levels in their hair compared to CF patients with normal growth.
