    TLDR A 15-year-old girl with hypothyroidism had excess hair and skin issues due to blocked hair follicles.
    A 15-year-old Japanese girl with juvenile hypothyroidism experienced hypertrichosis and hyperkeratosis on her back and upper arms. Rolled hairs were observed beneath a thin translucent horny layer, caused by a follicular keratin plug that impeded the growth of miniature hairs.
