    The document discussed the role of IL-1α as a growth inhibitory agent in hair follicles and its involvement in the pathogenesis of androgenetic alopecia (AGA), telogen effluvium (TE), and alopecia areata (AA). It highlighted that the downregulation of IL-1α in HaCaT cells, along with the presence of vitamins, flavonoids, and trace elements identified in phytochemical analyses, suggested that their herbal extract (HE) could serve as an auxiliary agent in the treatment of these three nonscarring forms of alopecia.
