i was just hoping to clarify your post on Avacor. Yes, minoxidil is an old drug, but Avacor has a unique angle. They offer Minoxidil (5% and 2% — the same as Rogaine), but they also offer Nutricaps which is a pill entended to be the sort of natural answer to propecia. I have a friend who’s sex life was ruined by propecia. He switched to Avacor’s topical and nutricap combo and saw just as good results but now has his sex life back. no toe nails though…

When I heard the report form matt lauer, I thought follica was on to something, then i read they are failing? jeez, more promises broken. I would like to know the status of these studies. Is this all just more scamming to get money? propecia, proscar, these drugs will make your junque(genitalia) fall off I heard, and if you are not working down below, who cares about up above, besides business. money is not everything. Who needs that? I also heard it doesn’t really work so well. then there is balayam, no drugs(I am willing to try anything) which is purported to restore hair in six months, no drugs, so what’s to lose besides a little time? I really think, they are blowing smoke up our wazoos. Oh well! unfortunately, desperate people will spend their last buck, and these companies know this. I am just going to eventually shave my head.

I hope that people don’t have to go through hair surgery. because I heard bad things about that. i hope that 2010 brings us the last suffering of hair loss and to regrow is quick thicker fuller when we were in our teens. i believe anything is possible when working hard at it. like that old saying you want something you have to work hard at it. lets make new changes and smiles for our humanity and lets learn to help eachother because its about time we do, and it’s about time we get truthful answers and not always be about “Money”

I’m 22 and in college and I’m balding, and I’m not terribly insecure about it since it’s been happening since I was 16. I mean no offense man but you’re 25, it’s fine if you go bald, we can’t all have great genetics.

There’s so many things you could have done to not be all insecure about it, sunglasses aren’t one of them. You realize you still have a huge bald spot in the back of your head right? The very least you could have done is get a haircut on the sides and back to not contrast the lack of hair on top of your head so much.

If I was as vain as you I would have gotten a hairpiece or something instead of walking around like that especially at that embarrassing party. Maybe once or twice you’ll get caught but whatever, it still looks better 99% of the time people can’t tell.

Maybe you should have dealt with your own personal issues before blaming it on the baldness. Your maturity for one, why are you 25 and living at home? Why do you care so much what a few immature girls think? There’s a few other things you could have done to improve your appearance other than hair and confidence. You could have worked out for one, maybe tanned a bit and got a better fashion sense.

The way it is right now, you’re still missing more hair than people your age, and you lack the confidence and physical attractiveness that other people have in addition to their hair.

i read in a paper where curcumin was compared with emodin, where the latter degrades the androgen receptor, and in that paper it was said that curcumin did not degrade the receptor and it was used as a negative control. could you please give any additional information on this, and if i could be mailed a paper on curcumin and its properties and molecular interactions.
